Privacy and POPIA
Our pilot privacy principles for protecting learners and families.
This plain-language pilot notice will be reviewed and expanded with legal counsel before accepting production learner data or payments.
Information we minimise
We collect only information needed to create accounts, personalise learning, measure progress, provide parent oversight and operate subscriptions. Children should never be asked for unnecessary personal details.
How learning data is used
Question attempts, errors, hints and mastery data are used to select useful practice, report progress and improve learning effectiveness. We do not sell learner information.
Parental oversight
Linked parents or guardians can see clear progress information appropriate to the learner’s account. Public communication between minors is not part of the platform.
AI interactions
AI coaching is restricted to appropriate educational assistance, monitored and designed to teach thinking rather than invite open-ended personal conversations.
Your choices
Parents and eligible users may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
Contact
Formal privacy contact details will be published before the pilot opens to public registration.
